What is AppURL?

A tool that turns any web address into a short link and an on-brand QR code in one paste. The link is dynamic, so you can change where it points anytime without reprinting the code.

Do I need an account?

No, to make a short link and download a QR code. You make a free account when you want to re-point a code later, add app links, set up smart routing, or see your scans.

Do my links or QR codes expire?

No. Links and codes never expire, on free and paid plans. The code you print keeps resolving.

Can I change where a code goes after I print it?

Yes, once it is saved to an account. The printed image stays the same and you change the destination behind it in one click, as often as you like.

What are smart redirects?

Rules that send different people to the right place from one link: iPhones to the App Store, Androids to Google Play, a country to a local page, or a time window to a lunch menu. You set them in plain English, and the first matching rule wins.

How does pricing work?

One flat price by how many links you keep, never by clicks or scans. Free covers ten links, Starter is $19, Pro is $39, and annual billing saves two months. See the pricing page for the full comparison.

Is the QR code an extra charge?

No. Every link you make can be an on-brand QR code, included in your plan. We don’t rent codes back to you by the month.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, on paid plans. Starter includes one custom domain and Pro includes three, so your links carry your brand instead of ours.

Do you have an API?

Yes, on Pro. A REST API lets you create and manage links from your own tools, at 60 requests per minute.

How do you keep bad links out?

A verification engine scores every link when it is created and keeps re-scanning it. Trust keys on account age and history, never on whether you paid. A link that turns bad after creation gets caught, not grandfathered.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, in one click. Links you already printed keep resolving after you cancel; you drop back to the free plan’s limits for making new ones.
